From its establishment in 2004, Living & Giving gained a reputation in the Temora Community for offering a wide range of eclectic gifts for any occasion and high-quality home and kitchenware to add flair to any space.
A decade later in 2014, Living & Giving continues to offer the same superior service and stock, priding itself on being able to provide the ideal gift or item for the home.
With the retail environment constantly changing and expanding, 2011 saw the business expand and change with the times, opening a cafe´ to operate from within the store.
An innovation mostly seen in metropolitan areas, the expansion made Living & Giving the first business in the local community to bring retail and hospitality together to offer the complete shopping experience.
Now a well-established and popular location for locals as well as visitors to Temora, the baristas are well known for brewing a "seriously good" coffee, to be enjoyed alongside wholesome food in a relaxed environment - all situated right in the heart of the town's CBD.
The cafe´ provides a tempting array of sweet treats to perfectly compliment a coffee or a loose leaf tea, a variety of cold drinks, with gluten and dairy free options available, as well as an extensive lunch menu encompassing a wide range of tastes, cuisines and fresh seasonal ingredients.
Where possible, Living & Giving endeavours to stock the kitchen with fresh local produce and products manufactured locally; recognising that supporting local businesses and suppliers means supporting the local community.
Gift ranges available in store include Susan Lordi's Willow Tree figurines, Ms Divine scarves, Rituelle body and beauty products, Terramundi money pots and Palm Beach candles, among a host of other high-quality gift lines.
Living & Giving also stocks a large range of home and kitchenware, from brands including Scanpan, Primo, Victorinox, Avanti, Le Chasseur and Ashdene; names that are synonymous with value and quality.
The range of gourmet edibles available in store features multi-award winning brands such as Simply Stirred, New England Larder, Newcastle's Pudding Lady and King Valley Fine Foods, sure to complete the perfect gift or serve as a culinary treat in your own home.
For those with specific dietary requirements the store is also a stockist of an ever-increasing range of gluten free meal accompaniments, including the locally produced, mouth-watering PSD, Poppy Seed Dressing.
Living & Giving has not only received praise from locals and those passing through town regarding the quality and value of their offerings, not to mention the friendly customer service and relaxed atmosphere, but has been recognised on numerous accounts for its innovation, professionalism and support of the local community with awards from the Temora Business Enterprise Group.
As a member of the Temora business environment and wider community for a decade now, Living & Giving seeks to return as much as possible to those who support the cafe´ and gift store, regularly donating to local charities, schools and sporting clubs to acknowledge their huge contribution to the Temora community.
